13. Turn old bed head into the couch
Have you always wanted a sofa indoors but haven't found the best model or design to match? If you have an old headboard, now is the time to turn it into a couch. Of course, you can also look for a cheap bedside board you like at car stores as you can often buy them for a pretty reasonable price and much less expensive than the average cost of a couch.
Either way, what you need is tailoring, painting, assembling, and measuring. The measuring means you'll find the perfect indoor spot for the couch and craft it to that size. But you may want to measure until you find the headboard so you can make sure you've got enough wood to work with. Of course, you can always buy a few extra pieces of wood to use as the bench legs and bench.
