The Pop Star Behind Dr. Facilier's Look
Dr. Facilier, from The Princess and the Frog, is one of Disney's latest villains. He's a witch doctor from New Orleans, practicing voodoo and dark arts in the film.
Michael Jackson inspired Dr. Facilier in The Princess and the Frog. Animator Bruce W. Smith incorporated Jackson's moves, mannerisms, and thin figures into the character's design.
