Have a grand old time with all candy-coated. Substitute the playful colors of candy with felt pom-poms if you are concerned about ants. They're the right size for a house-wide tabletop tree, office decoration, or sprinkling. These little felt pom-poms are readily available at craft shops and can be glued to anything you want. Create a cone-shaped cardstock base, or use a party hat and put on your pom-poms. You don't even need a pattern! The pom-poms' bright colors will do much of the job for you.
