10/ Eucalyptus is a friend to you!
As we have already learned, it is possible to make garlands out of just about everything. For wreaths, the same occurs. Why not for a moment walk back and return to basics? We've seen pine used practically all, so why not use a different form of evergreen: eucalyptus? This earthy, minty tree has lovely leaves that are oval-shaped and can survive some severe manipulation, so it's suitable for projects like this. It is a comfortable, gentle touch with a fragrant perfume, a perfect touch right where you need it.
You are, of course, not confined to using it in a wreath or garland. As flexible as its other evergreen relatives, this lovely leaf is. In a jar with some string lights for a simple DIY centerpiece, you might add some sprigs. Another choice is to hang upside down some twigs, tie them with twine or colorful yarn and make an alternate decoration for mistletoe! Decorate your simple pillar candles with fresh bunches of eucalyptus and some berries or other embellishments to spice them up
