Do Your Own Laundry

Marc couldn’t figure out why his sweater felt strange. Throughout dinner, he kept fidgeting and adjusting, trying not to look too uncomfortable. But his constant squirming didn’t go unnoticed. His date was starting to worry — until Marc finally reached into his sleeve and pulled out a surprise no one expected. It was a pair of his mom’s underwear, somehow stuck in the arm of his sweater from the laundry.

There’s no recovering from that kind of moment. His date didn’t know whether to laugh or look away in horror. Marc, meanwhile, was dying inside. It wasn’t his fault, but it certainly wasn’t ideal. First dates are meant to make a great impression, not display your mom’s undergarments. Hopefully, she appreciated the accidental comedy of it all. And hopefully, Marc learned to double-check his clothes before wearing them out. Especially when trying to look cool and collected on a date.
