20. Aim a specific Coffee Table
There are small living rooms that you might not think are set up for a large coffee table, but it might be sufficient for a smaller, round table. You also wonder, though, whether this would look too voluminous in your room or cause people to feel too crowded. You may want to look for a particular form of the coffee table, glass, in this case.
Since you can see through it, glass is often more pleasing to the eye and the room. It doesn't look like a randomly positioned giant wooden piece of furniture in the middle of a room. Alternatively, it seems like an elegant piece of furniture that makes space appear more welcoming.
