16. Create a Multi-purpose Room
When you think of small living, it seems impossible to fit more than what you usually do in this place. You could look at the size of the room and wonder how your sofa, coffee table, end tables, and entertainment center will fit together. In a small space, the idea of building a multi-purpose room does not usually cross your mind.
But, a multi-purpose space in your living room could be just what you need to make. You can find, for instance, that you have enough room on one side for your furniture and then an open space on the other side. What are you doing with it? Maybe it fits the room to build a workout or office space.
