#26: Changes Needed

Making lasting friendships in college is a wonderful experience, but not everyone is fortunate enough to have that kind of connection. For some individuals, making friends can be challenging, and they may never quite find their group of people. It's a difficult situation to be in, and it can leave one feeling lonely and isolated in a sea of people.

One such individual, attending the University of Florida, had a disappointing experience on their 21st birthday. Despite thinking that they had made friends, their so-called friends were nowhere to be found. They didn't bother to reach out or take them out to celebrate, leaving the person feeling hurt and disappointed. It's understandable that this person is ready for a switch-up and deserves better treatment from those they consider to be friends. It's essential to surround oneself with people who value and appreciate their friendships, and it's okay to move on from those who do not. While it may be challenging to make new friends, it's better to have a few close, genuine friendships than to be surrounded by people who don't care about one's well-being.
