#23: Couple Regression

College is a time of transition where people are trying to figure out who they want to be in the world. Most people go through a phase of partying and exploring their independence, but that can change once they start a new relationship. For this particular couple, their newfound love and maturity seemed to have caused a rift with their friends.

As the person shared, they were hurt when their friends stopped hanging out with them and their boyfriend. Both individuals were popular and often the center of attention when they were single, but they slowed down once they started dating. It appears that their friends weren't too thrilled with this new chapter in their lives, where they focused on more meaningful relationships and personal growth. It's unfortunate that their friends couldn't appreciate their more mature approach to life and relationships. However, in retrospect, it's clear that these friends were not true friends if they were not supportive of their happiness and growth.
