#19: Respect Elders
It's heartwarming to see a young person taking the initiative to help out an elderly neighbor in need. It can be easy to overlook our neighbors, especially when we are busy with our own lives. But, this UCONN student saw that their neighbor needed someone to talk to and decided to step up and be there for them.
It's a great reminder that we all have the power to make a positive impact on someone else's life, even if it's just by being there to talk or lend a helping hand. It's important to take the time to look out for our neighbors and to do what we can to make sure they feel included and cared for. We should all strive to be a little more like this UCONN student and make a difference in someone's life, even if it's just through a simple act of kindness.
