Taking Off the Tag
In the ongoing quest to eliminate everyday annoyances, we've previously championed eradicating bothersome ribbon loops within clothing. Today, we turn our attention to those pesky little plastic tags often accompanying clothing labels. These innocuous tags serve the purpose of securing paper tags in place but can prove to be a veritable nightmare to remove.
When one attempts to remove a label with conviction, it frequently leaves behind the persistent plastic tag. Attempts to extract it can lead to unsightly frays or, in some unfortunate cases, a small hole. The discomfort of these tags digging into our skin only adds to the aggravation.
