Nicola Coughlan, star of Bridgerton, has faced her fair share of body-shaming comments. One podcaster even referred to her as "the heavy girl from Bridgerton" while discussing her 2021 Golden Globes outfit.
Nicola didn't hold back in her response, pointing out that the cardigan she wore with her yellow dress was a fashion choice inspired by the runway, not an attempt to "hide" her body. She also reminded the critic that she does, in fact, have a name, which should be used when talking about her.
