Alma Mahler Werfel
Austrian composer and socialite Alma Mahler had a colorful, romantic life filled with wealthy and influential partners. She began her romantic journey with Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and later had a relationship with composer Alexander von Zemlinsky. Unions with architect Walter Gropius and writer Franz Werfel followed her marriage to composer Gustav Mahler.
