Following his public breakup with Perrie, Zayn transformed. He changed his hairstyle, opting for a short silver look, and added a lotus flower tattoo to his left arm. He also had some tattoos related to Perrie removed.
From late 2015 to October 2021, Zayn had an on-and-off relationship with model Gigi Hadid. The couple welcomed a daughter in September 2020 but have since confirmed their separation. Zayn has also been required to complete an anger management program due to issues that arose during the relationship.
