Sarah Hyland gained fame for portraying Haley Dunphy in the T.V. show Modern Family. In 2014, her troubled relationship with longtime partner Matthew Prokop made headlines. After ending her relationship with Prokop, Sarah obtained a restraining order against him in August 2014 to protect herself from harm.
Their relationship began in 2010 and was marked by messy fights and negative incidents, leading Sarah to leave Matthew. She stated that he was not kind, and she could no longer live in that environment. The restraining order against Prokop became permanent in October 2014.
