While the popularity of black dresses at weddings has grown in recent years, it wasn't a common sight until recently. Traditionally, wearing a black dress was considered taboo due to the superstitions surrounding weddings. However, this notion primarily applied to the bride.
In this particular case, the bride was ahead of the trend and decided that her bridesmaids should don black dresses for the ceremony. She believed it would bestow an air of elegance and edginess upon them. Unfortunately, the outcome was quite different. The bridesmaids ended up looking as though they were attending a funeral rather than a joyous wedding celebration!
