Miguel Cotto: $20 Million
After winning the vacant WBC international light welterweight title in 2003 against Cesar Bazan, Miguel Cotto spent the next five years defending and retaining his title. The Puerto Rican boxer later moved up in weight class and performed well as a light middleweight and middleweight. Cotto earned substantial purses in both victories and losses throughout his career, including $8 million from a loss to Floyd Mayweather and $15 million from a 2015 defeat against Canelo Alvarez.
