Fake Surgery
It's disheartening to witness how extensively celebrities edit their photos, as it often leads their fans to believe this is the beauty standard. This creates a sense of pressure for others to conform to these unrealistic ideals. Compared to the original on the left, a stark example of this can be seen in Kim Kardashian's edited photo on the right.
Beyond alterations to her bust, derriere, and even the removal of the dress zipper (a seemingly unnecessary edit), it's evident how much her facial features have been modified. Even her jawline appears dramatically different. If only celebrities, like those in the Kardashian-Jenner family, could embrace and love themselves for who they genuinely are. Such self-acceptance could alleviate the pressure on their fans to make numerous alterations to their bodies in pursuit of an unattainable standard of beauty.
