Lucy and Raj first meet at Stuart's comic book store during a singles event he threw in honor of Valentine's Day. Like Raj, Lucy also suffered from severe social anxiety to the point that she would often run out in the middle of their first few dates without so much of a hint as to her intentions. They began their relationship in season six but got off to a rocky start as Lucy needed the relationship to progress more slowly than it was.
