Connecting the perfect sensors
When you connect the side cases and side supports, you want to watch the measurements closely, so everything is centered and laid out well. Shutterstock.

17. Part 3 - Step 2: Connecting the perfect sensors

Connect the back of the side cases and the side brackets. The top edges of the 2 x 4s need to be around 1 1⁄2 inch lower than the top of the case when making this note. So for either end of the case back, they can still be flattened. Remember that bars are not used for double beds. The right edge is ¾ inch lower than the top edge of the box.

You will now connect the side rails to the side boxes. Make sure that the handrails are flushed into the cabinet's bedside as you do this. They will also protrude to the side and bottom of the chassis' foot at least a half-inch.
