All the rules that your boss has in the office will be broken when you work from home. You can eat and drink at your table and spend time cleaning up later. When there's no one there to remind you, you will always be behind regarding the cleaning situation. It's easy to get cluttered after you've spent hours in your home office, and the clutter will prevent you from working effectively.

If you walk to your desk and see a pile of papers, empty cups, plates and wires tangle, your brain will immediately tell you to stay away. On the other hand, if you walk to your desk and find an immaculate and organized station, you might look forward to working.
