2. Consider Soundproofing the Walls

You may notice that it resonates when you have chosen a sparsely furnished room for your home office. When you're just doing administrative work, this may not be so bad. But it's terrible for Skype and Zoom calls, and it can completely ruin any type of recording. You should add a rug on the floor, furniture, plants, and other items that will reduce echo.

Sometimes, if you have a high ceiling, this echo will still be there, even if the room is fully furnished. This is where the muffler comes in. You will want these panels to lie opposite to where you are speaking. Sound waves move back and forth. These panels help break the waves, so they do not bounce back immediately. Thankfully, only a few of you will need to perform this step in your home office.
