Europeans are very fond of houses with real wooden furniture. So we want to add this element into our list of Scotland Inspired Design tips! You can incorporate real wood instead of relying entirely on cheap IKEA pieces. You do not need to combine them perfectly. If your budget is tight, visit local auctions and thrift stores to find wood products in good condition. After having real wood, you can preserve it by staining with some TLC or sanding.
