When questioned about his preference between facing the victor of the BMF contenders Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier or the winner of the McGregor vs Chandler bout, Dariush expressed his inclination towards the BMF contenders. Dariush stated, "I think it would likely be Justin Gaethje. He appears to have a greater hunger, although it's challenging to predict with certainty in the case of Dustin Poirier."
