Stretched Earlobes – Africa
Most people find women with pierced ears adorned with elegant jewelry very attractive. However, in certain regions, a different notion of beauty prevails, where wearing substantial jewelry and stretching earlobes is considered appealing.
One such example can be found in Africa, particularly among the Masai tribe. The women of this tribe intentionally elongate their earlobes over time as a symbol of status. Consequently, the length of their earlobes becomes a significant point of interest for everyone within the community.
