Claudia Gadelha
Initially announced as part of the first group of women signed by the UFC for The Ultimate Fighter season 20, Gadelha ultimately did not compete on the show and secured a direct contract with the UFC. Before that, she had been competing in Invicta.
Claudia Gadelha hails from Brazil's rich tradition of successful mixed martial arts fighters. With her mother's lack of support for fighting, Claudia had to find training gyms clandestinely. She currently holds the second rank among female strawweights.
