Edith Labelle
UFC fans were disheartened by the departure of Edith Labelle from her role as an Octagon Girl. Labelle had graced the Octagon with her presence for two years before her dismissal. Before UFC 100, Edith fell ill after attending a pre-event party.
She called in sick for the event but was permanently released a few days later. Edith asserted that she had contracted food poisoning, but UFC management disagreed, suspecting that her illness was due to excessive partying.
