8. There's Never Enough Time For Self-Care

Some individuals believe that “true love” is joyful all of the time when you're with your lover. Alternatively, if you want to be successful, you may need to work 100 hours a week, sleep little, and never do the things you enjoy. Both of these perspectives are flawed. A work-life balance is vital for you. If you don't make it, someone else will.

Remember that you are still two separate people even though you are married. Both of you will require alone time, friendships, and a bond with your different families, among other things. And if your spouse doesn't understand the importance of self-care, it could lead to divorce. Self-care is more crucial than ever if or when you and your partner split up. Don't forget to love and take care of yourself, even if you have children to look after.
