Slimmer Than Believed

There has been a misconception that Marilyn Monroe was a size 16. Still, this notion was debunked by Sara Buys, a fashion editor for The Times of London, who had the opportunity to try on Monroe's clothing.

Contrary to popular belief, Buys stated, "Quite the opposite." She explained that while Monroe was undeniably voluptuous with an ample bosom and a curvy figure, for most of the early part of her career, she was a size 8, and even during her fuller stages, she was no more than a size 10.
