A Murder Mystery

Marilyn Monroe was often associated with Bobby Kennedy, with rumors of an affair between the two circulating. Wiretapper Bernard Spindel claimed to have bugged Marilyn's house.

Spindel alleged that he had listened to an argument between Bobby Kennedy and Marilyn on the night of her death, during which he purportedly heard a loud bang. Spindel believed that this noise indicated that Marilyn had been struck forcefully with a hard object, leading to her demise. However, the District Attorney seized the tapes in 1966 and subsequently "routinely destroyed them."
