The Process of Joining the Amish
If you aspire to become a part of the Amish community, it's entirely possible, as we've discussed earlier. However, the process involves a few essential steps. Initially, you will reside within an Amish household, unlike the typical practice of acquiring one's independent living space in the outside world, like a one-bedroom apartment.
During your time within the Amish community, you will immerse yourself in their customs and fully grasp the dialect they use for communication. Following this period of adaptation, your acceptance will be subject to the vote of the community church. Should you receive the church's approval, congratulations! You will have successfully become a valued member of the Amish community, embracing their way of life and values.
