As reports of Nicole Kidman's perceived neglect of her adopted children made headlines worldwide, critics slammed her for seemingly displaying differential love toward her biological and adopted kids. However, those close to Kidman understood the complexity of her relationship with her older children, acknowledging that her choices stemmed from their differing life paths.
