Kidman's journey to motherhood had been marked by resilience and unwavering hope. After the devastating separation from her first family, she discovered love anew, both with Keith Urban and the daughter they shared.
Motherhood seemed to agree with Kidman, and her yearning for more children persisted. 2010, Kidman and Urban welcomed a second daughter, Faith Margaret, via a surrogate. Reflecting on her diverse experiences of motherhood, Kidman shared with BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour, "I'm one of the few people in the world who has experienced so many different forms of (motherhood)," having gone through adoption, pregnancy, and surrogacy.
