Our singing sensation could screen test with one of her favorite actors, Eddie Redmayne. Taylor said she knew she wasn't likely to secure a role in the film but auditioned anyway.
The film's director, Tom Hooper, commented on Taylor's audition, expressing his admiration and disbelief that anyone would overlook her talent. However, Taylor didn't land the part, and another actress was chosen.
