19. Dowel Rods
Dowel rods are very useful. If you tie them up and leave them there, there's no way to be sure they will lie there without being spilled or moved. Instead, you can use a 3'' or 4'' piece of PVC pipe. Start by cutting it to about 30 inches long, then attach an end cap. Plus, screw everything to the wall, and you've got a great place to hold your dowels.
