People used Single-pane windows in houses for many years. When you first go on a house tour, you do not think much of it. Or perhaps you believe you can live with the old windows. These, on the other hand, are abysmal. In the winter, they quickly leak a draft, and in the summer, they let in a lot of heat. It has the potential to boost your energy bills significantly. Furthermore, single-pane glass is straightforward to crack, making you a more attractive target for thieves.

It's in your best interests to replace some windows with new double-pane glass. According to Angie's List, the estimated cost of labor and supplies for only one new window is $400 to $600. Depending on the number of windows to remove, this could easily cost you several thousand dollars.
