Avoid using table frames and other items that take up space on your desk or dresser. Instead, opt for wall hangings. Not only will this save you surface space, but it will also make them more interesting to look at them. If you can't find one you like, a simple string of lights on some hooks will provide a lovely glow. There are numerous hanging materials for dorm rooms that will not damage the walls.
