31. Natural wood finishes
Greek interiors are usually quite minimalistic; using simple shapes and legs with natural wood finishes is necessary. Painted or gilded wood is very uncommon and will detract from the natural aesthetics of the Greeks. Think clean, light, and inspired by sand and driftwood.
Look for bright, natural wood finishes like birch and light oak. Although dark wood is also beautiful, it will mostly compete and conflict with sunlight's vibe through the light tones typical of traditional Greek interior design. Greek-inspired furnishings will ideally feature three legs, an arch shape, simple lines, and a light sand finish.
