28. Tripod Tables

A common but unique feature of Grecian interior design is the tripod table. As it sounds, these tables all feature a three-foot stand instead of the traditional four-plate design. The legs usually begin to connect at the bottom of the furniture and spread out three separate portions, giving the table an elegant, languid look. This design also nicely repeats the vertical alignment that was important to the Greek system.

Look for extra tables and small tree stands to add this style to your home cheaply. A tripod with a vertical liana like Philodendron's Pothos would be a beautiful way to incorporate some Greek design elements.
