Old Baskets to Hide Nursery Pots

32. Old Baskets to Hide Nursery Pots

Many people rush to replant a beautiful new plant as soon as we bring it home from the nursery, which can be a bad idea. Indeed, some plants do not like to be moved, while others thrive under the right drainage conditions of the roots in the nursery, which is much better than ceramic or terracotta pots. If you've recently bought such a plant, but unlike the simple black or blue plastic of a greenhouse, try using a traditional wick or wooden basket to hide the pot, while still allowing drainage and airflow. If you use plastic lined baskets, be sure to empty any remaining water after watering your new plant buddy to avoid rotting!
