6. The Betsy Ross House
One of the smallest properties on the list is the Betsy Ross House located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. However, what it lacks in scale, it could make up for in history. It is assumed that the humble home is where Betsy Ross lived when she sewed the first American Flag.
Designed in the 1740s with the colonial style of traditional Pennsylvania, the placed situated just blocks from both the Liberty Bell and the Freedom Hall, where two of the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution have been affirmed.
