4. Lynnewood Hall

Standing in Pennsylvania, Lynnewood Hall is one of the place's most renowned mansions. Peter A. B. Widener, the enormously wealthy industrialist has gotten Horace Trumbauer to design it between 1897 and 1900. Aside from being the biggest largest Gilded Age mansion in the area, it once was used to store a renowned art collection.

Similar to many Gilded Age mansions, the family's wealth deteriorated over time; some of the descendants of Widener died in the sinking of the RMS Titanic, along with many wealthy US individuals, leaving the property in the hands of many. The estate is currently up for sale, with a listed price of $11 million, as of May 2019.
