28. Jonathan Corwin's house

While the Jonathan Corwin House is notable for its age, built in the first half of the 1600s, and its traditional Colonial style, sadly, it is best known for its role in capturing, persecuting, and killing women in the infamous Salem Witch Trial. Better known as the Witch's House, it is the home of Judge Jonathan Corwin, who presided over the majority of the murders.

The Witch's House is the only remaining structure in Salem, Massachusetts, directly linked to the trials. Although no interrogations or problems have been conducted at the property, Corwin's far-reaching role in the practices makes the house a milestone in the trials' tragic history Witch trial. It's a popular attraction among supernatural-minded people, with Ghost Hunters filming an episode there.
