25. Gray Gardens

Gray Gardens is a beautiful house in its own right. However, it is much more famous for its iconic television show covering the Kennedy family's eccentric life. The documentary, also titled Gray Gardens, tells about the mental illness and breakdown of mother-and-child Edith Beale, Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy's aunt, and cousin.

Located in East Hampton, New York, the 14-room mansion was built in 1897 and changed many times. It entered the Kennedy family when her husband gave Edith Beale property. It fell into disrepair, resulting in a documentary after cutting his estranged wife from all financial aid.
