27. Store the decorations in the egg carton
When you are cooking for holidays, you will most likely buy eggs to make cakes, cakes, and more. Before you throw those cartons in the trash, set them aside. These cartons are designed to protect delicate eggshells, so it only makes sense that they will do the same with glass ornaments.
If you plan to do this, try to save some boxes of eggs throughout November and December. Try to ask your family and friends, if they do have any. No problem if your egg carton is made of foam, paper, or plastic. They are all going to do a decent job securing your decorations.
