9. Use Coffee Cans to Wrap and Store Lights
We suggested a few options for storing your Christmas lights, which is also the right way. If you drink coffee, save cans and lids. You can wrap the cord around the outside of the box, and when you get to the end, you can plug inside the table, and keep it in a position with a plastic lid.
It is also great because if you save on these throughout the year, you will have a few of these ready to store lots of lights. You can then use a Sharpie to label each box so you know exactly where the lights are in your home.
