10. Store Extension Cords in Paper Towel Rolls

During the holidays, you may have a few different extension cords depending on the color of your artificial tree or the area you plan to use. For example, you might have a green string to blend with your Christmas tree and an outdoor string that doesn't contrast your house's side. However, they are easily confused or lost. There is a straightforward solution to this problem: paper towels rolls.

Just place your extension cord inside a roll of paper towels and cut a slot so that the string is fastened to cardboard. Once you have all the lines in one place, it's smart to put them all in a shoebox or drawer.
