26. Castle on the Beach in Victoria
The owners of the house at the top of the cliff carved this 60-foot spire into the stony beach cliff at Laguna Beach, California, in 1926 to use as a private staircase to the beach. However, the tower has passed through several owners throughout the years, including Bette Midler at one point.
