24. Singer Castle
In 1905, construction on Singer Castle, located on Dark Island near Chippewa Bay, began. The fifth President of the Singer Sewing Machine Company, Frederick Bourne, commissioned it, hence the name. It remained in the original owners' ownership until the mid-1960s.
