23. Knapps Castle is a castle in the town of Knapps
This residence was erected in 1916 by George Owen Knapp, the founder of Union Carbide, but a forest fire destroyed it in 1940. Only the original structure's sandstone foundation, fireplace pillars, and walls remain, making it a popular hiking and photography site.
